The Benefits Of California State Polytechnic University Pomona

By Andrew Anderson

California State Polytechnic University Pomona is situated in the center of Los Angeles. Neighboring the university are huge parks, beaches, shopping areas, sights and most specifically, the best and freshest climate you could ever wake up in. Its got an array of esteemed programs in the state such as entrepreneurship, architecture and engineering, which is more or less the very best that one could ever find amongst Cal State educational institutions.

It is hard not to find yourself busy here. There is so much things to do here! School events such as plays and intercollegiate sports will get your juices and voices flowing. You can join one of their 300 and more clubs and organizations but if you can't find one that specifically suits you, why not make your own one? It is much more fun and meeting people who share the same interests with you is actually worth all the time and effort you have used to build up your club. Aside from the many things you can do with your clubs, the campus is also an excellent place to chill and hang out. One of the students' favorite hangout is the Marketplace. Well, why? The food, of course! There's so much food there that you can taste that is perfect to go along with telling jokes and sharing secrets with your friends.

The Things I found out once i studied there was you must have a road map of the university ground in your pocket for at least the first month of your stay there. Cal Poly Pomona is the second biggest California State University and in case you're in a rush to get to class, you definitely do not want to get lost. Nevertheless, becoming lost in this lovely campus may possibly keep you from time to time. The architecturally sound structures which towers above is going to amaze you, as well as the fields of golf green lawn basking on sunny days. Taking into consideration that it is in the eastern portion of Los Angeles, it is certainly a breath of fresh air.

Yet another thing that stood out for me is not merely their school pride (Go Billy Bronco!), there's also dormitory pride. They even have dorm shirts and mascots! The folks at my residence hall instantly accepted me the minute I arrived there, introduced me to my roomie and gave me a list of suggestions about the Cal Poly Pomona. That is how I came to discover their Upward Bound and EOP programs which will help much you become acquainted with senior students in your own program as well as assist you to get some grant money on a yearly basis.

I hold so many memories here and would gladly share them all to you but I strongly advise you to just head on there and see for yourself! It's truly not hard to fall in love with the place.
