Another part that you must check is the throat opening which should show no signs of deformity where as the saddle or the twist should not have been worn. Aside from the inspections that you do everyday, you must also perform periodic inspection which is more operation and detailed. You need to do a careful examination of the different components to be able to determine their conditions. This is usually performed in each quarter but may be more frequent depending on the environmental elements present.

Check if the grooves in the wiring drum have already been worn out. The brake linings also have the tendency to be torn. Make sure as well that the electrical components have their integrity maintained.
