By Toni Vang

It is believed and evident that the US is a country that has for a long time, readily accommodated people from diverse backgrounds. It is the leading when it comes to maintaining a cosmopolitan class because no other country can be able to match up with it. People move in and out upon permission by the government opportunity depending on their reason for stay. Whether they are in the country to seek education, pursue their career or to make tours, all depends on the fact that their stay is limited or can be renewed. The Cheyenne Arapaho has earned their stay in their country.

These tribesmen and women are located in the west of the state of Oklahoma. Most of them live within the state and have established their jurisdictional areas. They are so organized that they control most of the activities that go on that area on behalf of the overall government. Most of the activities are reported to the overall authority through appointed spokespeople.

An administration must be organized according to the constitution of the country. This is why it has been sub divided into legislature, judicial, executive and the overall tribal council. These branches have representatives whose main interest is to represent the inhabitants in matters of concern. They are either appointed or elected depending on their laws.

The tribe is responsible for the economic well being within the region. This is why they own most of the smoke shops and casinos as well. These bring a lot of net worth value because they contribute so much to the economic system. They readily release their per capita information in their websites so that their people can rate themselves according to their economic capabilities.

The people are very conversant with the fact that it is important to give full knowledge on administrative practices so that the students remain relevant. This is why the local university has formed a branch that targets the youth form the local environment so that they can easily impart the knowledge.

It is an arguable fact that it is culture that brings people together since they can do the same things. Both the tribes are considered as one because of the way they work together. They organize for events that focus on promoting tribal content and citizenship, enhancing cultural participation as well. They involve activities such as the traditional dances, pow-wows and traditional singing of the Cheyenne and Arapaho songs. Their cultures are rich enough to connect the youth to the rest of them.

It is indeed the responsibility of the tribal members to focus on training the youth on values rather than vices. This is why they readily offer employment opportunities for them so that they can be responsible in future. They readily recruit the ones who have successfully completed their studies so that they can further their careers. They put notices for them to read through the newspapers.

In essence, the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes are very significant judging by their history and their contribution towards development in the country. This is why they are able to govern themselves and bring up responsible citizens among the youth.
